"Craco is a small town in southern Italy, completely abandoned after a landslide in 1963. Since then, plants and animals slowly started to take over the ruins, creating a suspended atmosphere magnified by distant echoes coming from rural production and imaginary voices."

Nicola Di Croce is a Venice based, musician, composer, architect and scholar. His main research deals with the relation between territory and sound. He follows the idea that listening and field recording practices lead together to a new perception of the environment, and fragments to be re-mixed become an essential tool for the understanding and the redefinition of the surrounding space.
