Closing chords of potential songs one after the other, for acoustic guitar and a loudspeaker in a room. The pieces are constructed out of the transition from one open tuning to another and are inspired by Bolero songs from the 1970s. Recorded in the artist’s studio in Berlin.

Rubén D’Hers is a guitarist and sound artist from Venezuela, currently living in Berlin. He uses stringed musical instruments and mechanical objects to evoke a sense of space and to reconstruct harmonic qualities from sounds of the indoor environment. | rubendhers.net
